Our history teacher Prof. Harald Kofler, a recognized expert on the history of mining in our area, held a <strong>lecture<\/strong> and was our guide during a <strong>city tour,<\/strong> where we visited places and sights reminding of the heyday of mining.<\/p>\n<p>ngg_shortcode_0_placeholder<br \/>\nIn <strong>groups<\/strong>, we then worked on the following topics:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>we created a <strong>visual map<\/strong>, marking places of interest connected to the Fugger footprints, and added descriptions and pictures<\/li>\n<li>we drew a <strong>comic strip<\/strong> showing a scene in Jakob Fugger\u2019s biography<\/li>\n<li>we created a short <strong>video<\/strong> about our city tour<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><center><div style=\"width: 720px;\" class=\"wp-video\"><video class=\"wp-video-shortcode\" id=\"video-1093-1\" width=\"720\" height=\"480\" preload=\"metadata\" controls=\"controls\"><source type=\"video\/mp4\" src=\"https:\/\/erasmusfugger.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/Erasmus_Day_Sterzing.mp4?_=1\" \/><a href=\"https:\/\/erasmusfugger.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/Erasmus_Day_Sterzing.mp4\">https:\/\/erasmusfugger.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/Erasmus_Day_Sterzing.mp4<\/a><\/video><\/div><\/p>\n<p><\/center>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>we made up a <strong>timeline<\/strong> of Jakob Fugger\u2019s life and the Fuggers\u2018 impact on the area in and around Sterzing<\/li>\n<li>we created <strong>fact files<\/strong> and&nbsp; <strong>crossword puzzles<\/strong> about our partner countries and their role in the EU<\/li>\n<li>our integration student <strong>Peter<\/strong> was busy making some drawings, he painted for example the coat of arms of the Fugger family<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>All the works were collected and designed as a <a href=\"https:\/\/erasmusfugger.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/Fugger-magazine_eng.pdf\"><strong>magazine<\/strong> <\/a>by another group, our editors:&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><center><a href=\"https:\/\/erasmusfugger.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/Fugger-magazine_eng.pdf\" class=\"pdfemb-viewer\" style=\"width:600px;\" data-width=\"600\" data-height=\"max\" data-toolbar=\"bottom\" data-toolbar-fixed=\"on\">Fugger-magazine_eng<\/a><\/center><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We held our Europe Day on 5 May and dedicated the whole morning (and some additional lessons&#8230;) to Jakob Fugger and the European Union.
