Two years after the first Erasmus+ project about Jakob Fugger ended students and teachers from the historic towns linked to the Fugger family – Allmadén and Almagro (Spain), Augsburg (Germany), Banská Bystrica (Slovakia) and Sterzing (Italy) – came together at the IFYC 25 International Youth Conference in Allmadén to celebrate the 500th anniversary of the arrival of the Fuggers.
This special week full of workshops, lectures on site visits (mercury mine of Almadén, mercury technology center and the famous mining university of Almadén) and of course social events like the family day the dance workshop and the great farewell party was so sucessfull that the organisational board of the conference decided to try to organize a conference like this each year in another European Fugger city with a different topic.
