This year marks the 20th anniversary of Slovakia’s accession to the EU. In connection with the regular celebration of Europe Day, an event called European Banská Bystrica took place on 10 May 2024. Visitors had the opportunity to stop by 20 information stands where EU institutions and embassies presented their country and activities in their mother tongue to promote the idea of EU diversity. One of the accompanying activities was a presentation of schools involved in the implementation of Erasmus+ projects. We were also given this opportunity and, together with the pupils, we presented our activities under this programme to the public. We presented completed and ongoing projects and drew their attention to the school and project websites. Being European is a wonderful thing. To develop in freedom of speech, thought, learning and movement is a tremendous opportunity to make a difference. We look forward to the challenges and encounters that our future Erasmus projects will bring.
