On the occasion of the second project week in Sterzing (17.-23.09.22), the partner schools present their historical and current connections to Jakob Fugger and Sterzing on
Thursday, 22nd of October at 7pm at the Oberschulzentrum Sterzing
and also with a livestream
On this evening we were very happy to welcome two experts about Jakob Fugger for the so called “Fugger-Forum” at the Oberschulzentrum Sterzing:
- Sofia Steger vom Landesmuseum Bergbau: The Fuggers and the Tyrolean Mines.
- Theresa Rothfuss: Lucas Geizkofler – A South Tyrolean lawyer of the Fugger family
After that the footprints of Jakob Fugger in Banská Bystrica (Slovakia), Antwerp (Belgium), Almadén (Spain) and Augsburg (Germany) were presented by the pupils of the partnerschools.
