The Erasmus+-project team at IES Pablo Ruiz Picasso started their project work about the minerals and the mines in Almadén on the base of a article published by José Eugenio Ortiz, Octavio Puche, Isabel Rábano, Luis Felipe Mazadiego named “The Almadén mercury mining district”. They worked together with their English teachers on this very detailed scientifical report as a profund basis of knowledge about the history of mercury in their area.
