On the occasion of the first mobility week in Augsburg, the partner schools presented their historical and current connections to Jakob Fugger.
The Fugger-Forum took place on Thursday, 5th of May at 7pm at the Jakob-Fugger-Gymnasium in Augsburg. All the presentations were streamed online to be available in real time for all those who could not attend the event.
On this evening we were very happy to welcome Astrid Gabler, Head of Communications and Programmes of the Princely and Count Fugger Foundation, who spoke about “The Fugger Foundations and the Future of a Unique Idea” and Katharina Dehner M.A., Deputy Director of the Fugger and Welser Museum, who reported on “The European Fugger Road – One Company, Many Perspectives”.
After that the footprints of Jakob Fugger from Almadén (Spain), Sterzing (Italy), Antwerp (Belgium) and Banská Bystrica (Slovakia) were presented by the partnerschools.
